Adrienne
Spice Founder
Adrienne Taylor is the founder of Spice Reformer Pilates Studio, a Reformer Pilates space in the heart of Highbury dedicated to inclusive wellness.
With over ten years in film and television as a Boom Operator, Adrienne knows firsthand the demands of a busy professional life and the importance of caring for both body and mind. She holds a certificate in Managing Mental Health and trained as a Wellbeing Facilitator, giving her the skills to support others on their wellness journeys.
After a colon cancer diagnosis in 2019, Adrienne discovered Pilates during recovery, it helped her rebuild strength and reconnect with her body. That experience led her to train in Mat Pilates with Body Control Pilates (2023) and Reformer Pilates with APPI (2025).
She opened Spice Reformer Pilates Studio to bring these benefits to her diverse Islington community. "Spice" nods to her Grenadian heritage — Grenada, the Isle of Spice — reflecting warmth, diversity, and connection.

Talia
Spice Instructor
A dancer by training, Pilates has been integral to Talia’s movement practice since she was a child.
After working as a gymnastics coach, program leader and club educator for 10 years, Talia found her way to Reformer and Chair Pilates after experiencing a workplace injury. She fell in love with the system and its ability to rehab, balance and challenge.
Talia completed her Matwork and Reformer training with APPI in Sydney, and pivoted to Pilates instructing once she made the move across the pond.
Talia’s classes blend classical with contemporary and always have a good dash of spice.

Harrison
Spice Instructor
Having climbed for many years, I came to Pilates as a way to find more three-dimensionality and balance in my body.
After an ankle injury resulted in the need for rehabilitation, I soon grew passionate about the way the Classical method can inform all walks of life.
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, with backgrounds as both an athlete and artist, I am eager to encourage greater awareness of the mind-body-breath connection through my classes.

Charlotte
Spice Instructor
I first discovered reformer pilates in 2017, and it's the only form of exercise I've ever stuck with, where I've really learnt to feel strong and confident in my body.
After 8 years of practising, becoming an instructor felt like a natural next step, and a nice antidote to my full-time desk job in the film industry in a parallel life. In my classes, I hope to help clients to understand their bodies and find the same strength I found through regular practice.
