During pregnancy, this style of training can assist in maintaining core strength, improving posture, and reducing strain on the lower back and hips as the body changes. Postnatally, it becomes a powerful tool for recovery, supporting pelvic floor healing, rebuilding abdominal strength, and restoring overall balance and mobility. Each movement is low-impact and can be tailored to suit individual needs, making it an ideal option for both maintaining fitness and aiding recovery.

While we don’t currently offer dedicated pre or postnatal classes on our schedule, we recognise the incredible benefits this practice can bring. At our Spice Reformer Pilates studio in Highbury, we are passionate about creating inclusive and supportive spaces, and we look forward to expanding our offerings in the future to support mothers at every stage of their journey.
